It is directed by Tetsuro Araki and written by Gen Urobuchi, with Takeshi Obata's character designs and Hiroyuki Sawano's music. On February 10, 2022, the film received early screenings at the Berlin International Film Festival. It was followed by a worldwide Netflix release on April 28, 2022, before a theatrical premiere in Japan in May. On April 22, 2022, Erubo Hijihara's manga adaptation of the film debuted in Shnen Jump+.

In the not-too-distant future, the Earth will be engulfed by bubbles that defy reality's laws. Although an explosion at Tokyo Tower collects all of Tokyo's bubbles, it renders the city uninhabitable. Various young people ignore the regulations and live there anyhow, bartering and trading commodities through parkour championships. Hibiki is an amazing parkour talent in one parkour squad, the Blue Blazes, although he avoids others owing to hearing ultrasensitivity. Because to gravitational anomalies, getting to Tokyo Tower continues to be difficult. Hibiki tries to climb the tower one day because he hears a woman singing and thinks he sees a boy there. He nearly makes it, but falls into the ocean, where his final exhale joins with some of the bubbles to form a fascinating young woman. She is plainly fresh to being a person, yet she picks up on things quickly. Hibiki gives her the name "Uta" ("Tune") since she recognizes the song in his brain. Uta and Hibiki learn parkour together, defeating a squad known as the Morticians / Undertakers. However, Uta's arm fades away into bubbles when she touches Hibiki in one final catch. As bubble activity resumes, Tokyo residents are forced to escape. Uta travels to Tokyo Tower to put an end to it. Hibiki rushes to her aid. They save each other in the closing scene, although Uta dissolves into bubbles, as in Hans Christian Andersen's original fairy tale "The Little Mermaid." She tells Hibiki with her final breath that he made it worthwhile for her to be human. With the bubbles deflated, Tokyo residents return and begin to rebuild. Parkour teams go on with their lives as well. Whether actual or imagined, Hibiki has the impression that Uta is always close by.

Bubble, Mysterious Girl, and his gang of animal criminals — Snake, Piranha, Craig Robinson's funny Shark, and Tarantula — were double-crossed in their attempts to reform in DreamWorks' latest animated film. Marmalade, their sponsor, was merely rehabilitating them so he could frame them for stealing a valuable meteorite. Marmalade used the space rock to mind-control a guinea pig army, which landed them in jail once more.
His idea was for them to steal millions from a charity event and then give him money so he could continue to be a nefarious mastermind. Marmalade, on the other hand, underestimated the squad's ability to draw a few trump cards from their sleeve, resulting in a startling conclusion.

How Did Team Wolf Get Out Of Bubble Jail?
Wolf was savaged by the crew in prison because, while they were pretending to be heroes to take an award from Marmalade, Wolf had gone bad. He was duped by Marmalade's phony altruistic speech, and he was in love with Diane Foxington, the governor. Fortunately, a mysterious ninja named the Crimson Paw, a former criminal, appeared and liberated them. It turned out to be Diane, who years ago discreetly changed her life after understanding that being a villain wasn't worth it.
Unfortunately, once she defeated the guards and freed them, the team abandoned her and Wolf. As a result, Diane and Wolf returned to her hideout to load up on supplies in order to thwart Marmalade's mind-control contraption at his mansion. Snake, on the other hand, lost it over the betrayal because Diane had already searched the crew's hold and returned their stolen treasure thanks to Wolf's intel.

In Bubble, What Happened To Marmalade's Meteorite?
Wolf and Diane penetrated the home with the intention of stealing the space rock, but Snake unexpectedly showed up and betrayed them. Snake admitted that he enjoyed being bad when they were imprisoned. Wolf may have persuaded the others to consider permanent atonement, but Snake was adamant that this was not what his species was meant to achieve.
Fortunately, Piranha, Shark, and Tarantula arrived, and Wolf and Diane were able to flee. Snake and Marmalade were enraged when they stole the rock, loaded it into their car, and drove away. They tracked them down in a chopper, but Tarantula hacked their mind-control waves, putting the guinea pig army on the back foot. It all came to a head when Marmalade, desperate to reclaim control of the machine, tossed Snake from the chopper as a distraction and took the rock once more.
How Did Marmalade Get Out Of The Bubble?
The gang had one more astonishing ace in the hole after Wolf saved Snake from certain death, reinforcing their friendship. Snake admitted to going undercover and was never Marmalade's ally when they were apprehended by the cops. In fact, he switched the meteorites, and Marmalade's helicopter was loaded with a dud.
This allowed Snake enough time to have the compromised machine in the mansion explode with the real meteorite, putting an end to the mind-control project for good. To top it off, Marmalade had earlier stolen a jewel from Diane out of hubris, but this had the unintended consequence of allowing him to be framed as the Crimson Paw. In Bubble's final moments, he was carried off to jail, leaving Team Wolf to rejoin, happier than ever.
But there was one more twist. After their escape, Wolf left one ice cream pop at the lair, betting that Snake would give it to Shark when they noticed their plunder was gone. Wolf predicted that after sharing, Snake would feel a "tingle of goodness" inside, prompting Snake to devise a Hail Mary scheme. It was a risky decision, but it showed Wolf trusted and believed in his pal. They finish their year's sentence in jail and are picked up by Diane to go battle crime at the end of the movie.
